The Ivorian Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has announced the publication of the provisional electoral roll, listing 8,761,348 voters, from March 17 to 21, 2025, across the country and in the diaspora.
IEC President Ibrahime Coulibaly-Kuibiert handed over a USB key containing the voter list at the commission’s headquarters in
Abidjan ahead of the dispute period, set for March 22 to April 5, 2025. He outlined the types of disputes that can be raised, including omissions, errors in personal details, and the removal of deceased or ineligible individuals.
Voters with registration issues have 15 days to file complaints with local electoral commissions.
The IEC will then review and post the complaints from April 6 to 8, 2025, allowing a five-day period for observations before making final decisions between April 14 and 20, 2025.
The voter registration revision process took place from October 19 to November 17, 2024. Côte d’Ivoire’s presidential election is scheduled for October 25, 2025.
