Actor Yul Edochie Speaks Out Against Domestic Violence, Urges Couples to Leave Toxic Relationships

Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken to social media to condemn domestic violence and also encouraged couples to walk out of toxic partners and marriages.

The thespian made the remarks while reacting to an incident where a woman identified who died from injuries after she was burnt to death by her husband during a dispute in Anambra State.

Regardless of the situation, Yul stated in a post shared on his Instagram page that there is never a reason to hurt one’s spouse, even if one witnesses their spouse having an affair.

“If your marriage isn’t working, let go. Let go, walk away. I saw the video of the lady that was burnt by her husband and it broke my heart.

‘‘Those having marital issues, listen up: Even if you catch your wife with another man, there’s no justification for harming her.

“If you catch your husband with another woman, there can be no justification for harming him. Don’t kill another human being because of marriage. Marriage isn’t do or die. Walk away,” he wrote.
