An angry mob on Tuesday killed two suspected kidnappers in Delta State.
The spokesman for the state police command, Bright Edafe confirmed the incident in a terse WhatsApp message on Thursday in Asaba.
“It is confirmed,” Edafe simply said.
An eyewitness said the incident occurred at Mosogar Community in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state on Thursday.
He said suspects and their accomplices now at large attempted to abduct a woman in the community.
“The victim raised alarm which attracted passers-by who chased and apprehended two of the suspects.
“The suspects were beaten to stupor before they were set ablaze,” the eyewitness added.
