TORONTO (CONVERSEER) – A 24-year-old man identified as Anthony Steven Oliveira is wanted by the Toronto Police, Canada, for alleged homicide.
According to a statement released by Constable Stephanie Miceli for Detective Sergeant Henri Marsman, on Thursday, Oliveira allegedly stabbed his victim to dead at Danforth Avenue and Coxwell Avenue.
“On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11:03 p.m., police responded to a Stabbing call in the Danforth Avenue and Coxwell Avenue area,” the statement said.
It is alleged that: “an altercation occurred between two males behind a plaza, a A 36-year-old man was located who had been stabbed, a male suspect wearing dark clothing was seen fleeing the area, and the victim was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.”
“The victim has been identified as Ashkan Pournasir-Roudbane, 36, of Toronto,” police statement said.

Investigators have now identified the suspect as Anthony Steven Oliveira, 24, of No Fixed Address, who is wanted for: “First Degree Murder.”
An image of the suspect has been released.

“The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach, and call 911.
“The suspect is known to use public transit throughout the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Durham Region, and Peel Region.

Converseer reports that this is Toronto’s 16th homicide of 2025.
