Apple releases macOS 15.6 developer preview Beta 3

CALIFORNIA (CONVERSEER) – Apple has on Monday pushed the macOS 15.6 Developer Preview Beta 3 update (internal version number: 24G5074c) to Mac computer users. This update was released 14 days after the last Beta/RC release.

Apple has not yet officially announced the specific update content or new features. Checks on the update log indicated that there was a known issue; some Macs in DFU mode could not be successfully restored by Finder and Apple Configurator. The temporary solution is to restore the host to the currently available version of macOS.

Developers can install this version by going to Apple menu > System Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and selecting “macOS Sequoia Developer Beta”. It is recommended to back up your Mac data before installation just in case.

How to upgrade iOS / iPadOS / watchOS / macOS development and beta versions?

• Public beta version : You need to register for the Apple Beta Software Programme, and then upgrade through [Settings] [General] [Software Update] [Beta Update];

• Development Preview Version : You need to log in and register for the Apple Developer Programme, and then upgrade through [Settings] [General] [Software Update].
