A bomb explosion has k!lled a Civilian Joint Taskforce, Abba Godori, in Kawuri village, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the explosion occurred on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. claimed the life of the vice chairman of Kawuri unit of the Civilian Joint Taskforce, Abba Godori.
An eyewitness who spoke to the punch on condition of anonymity said the late Godori, the vice chairman of Kawuri unit of the CJTF, stepped on the bomb, which was believed to have been planted by terrorists a day earlier.
“Mr Godori was on patrol when he stepped on the bomb. He was following the footsteps of the terrorists until he stepped on the bomb,” the source said.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the Borno State Police Command, ASP Nahum Daso, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
