Burna Boy Issues Warning to Speed Darlington: 'Misbehavior Will Send You Back to Where You Came From'

Grammy Award-winning musician Damini Ogulu popularly known in music circles as Burna Boy has taken to his social media to warn Speed Darlington not to mess around with him again else he will return to where he came from.

Speed Darlington was initially arrested by police in October 2024 after Burna Boy filed a petition against him with the police. He was then re-arrested on November 27, 2024, while performing at a show in Owerri, Imo State, after being accused of cyberstalking Burna Boy

His release was confirmed on Wednesday by his lawyer Stan Alieke who disclosed in a post on his Instagram page that Speed Darlington finally regained his freedom and had joined his family after Burna Boy subjected his client to what he described as two months of ‘illegal detention’.

Alieke also disclosed that he would explore every angle of the law to ensure that his client gets justice for his fundamental human right, which the Nigerian Police Force deprived him of.

As a note of warning following his release, Burna Boy has penned a note of warning to Speed Darlington to stop messing around with him else he’ll return to prison and this time there will be no mercy.

“If you like, misbehave again, you’ll go to where you came from! And this time around there would be no mercy! #Dontmesswithodg” Burna Boy wrote on his Instagram page.
