One can tell that there’re some skirmishes in the current political space in the state but you can’t doubt the fact that Governor Bassey Otu has appointed some competent hands.

On Sunday, December 29, and Monday, December 30, Hon. Oden Ewa, Commissioner for Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations and Chairman/CEO of Cross River State Green Economy Commission, hosted Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, and the Special Adviser on Youths Mobilisation, His Youthfulness, Dan Obo, and a host of other bigwigs.

Though, the purpose of the meeting is still sketchy but of course, we’re in the yuletide and many people are hosting their friends. Even the state is hosting foreigners in its different carnivals.
It was reported that the administration of Governor Otu is doing a lot which Cross Riverians don’t know about and some of these men are working to help the government reach its El Dorado.
It was also reported that Obo in November held a town hall meeting for Central Senatorial District of the state, where he inaugurated 66 youths who pledged to drive the government’s policies in District.
With Oden meeting with Ayambem and Obo in his house in Ugep, one can tell that 2025 nay 2027 is not going to be business as usual.
