Superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed he has played under some ‘f***ing clueless’ coaches during his illustrious career.
The Portugal legend spent over two decades at the highest level, having worked with big names, including Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Carlo Ancelotti.
In a wide-ranging interview with Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, he appeared to take a fresh swipe at former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo and Ten Hag fell out in the early stages of the Dutchman’s first season at Old Trafford after the former refused to go on as a late substitute against Tottenham. He subsequently accused Ten Hag of not showing him respect in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan, leading to his United contract being terminated in November 2022.
The former Real Madrid striker has also previously criticised Ralf Rangnick, who took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on an interim basis before Ten Hag arrived at United.
Reflecting on the managers he has played for, Ronaldo revealed there have been some ‘really bad’ ones.
‘I learned from everyone. I had some really bad coaches,’ Ronaldo told El Chiringuito.
‘Some of them don’t have a f***ing clue about football at all.’
