Cross River Police Spokesperson Ties the Knot

Benin, Nigeria – The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Cross River State Police Command, SP Irene Ugbo, has officially tied the knot with her Cross River-born partner, Mr M. Obase.

Converseer reports the wedding ceremony took place on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, in Benin City, Edo State.

The joyous event attracted friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the union of the couple. It was a moment of celebration as the newlyweds exchanged vows and embarked on a new chapter of their lives together.

The Cross River State Police Command, along with the Nigeria Police Force, extended heartfelt congratulations to SP Ugbo and Mr Obase. In an official statement, the Command wished the couple a blissful and fulfilling married life filled with love, peace, and happiness.

“We are delighted to celebrate this special occasion with our esteemed colleague, SP Irene Ugbo, and her husband. We wish them a harmonious and joyful marital journey,” the statement read.

The wedding marks a significant milestone for the couple as they begin their journey into family life, embracing the responsibilities of marriage and, in the future, parenthood. The event not only celebrated love but also reinforced the importance of companionship and support in building a strong and successful union.

Irene’s husband, Obase is the immediate past Director of Lands, Cross River State Ministry of Lands and Housing.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Obase on their nuptials.
