A trending video of crossdressers storming a birthday party in Calabar, Cross River State, is making the rounds on social media.

According to the video shared by a YouTuber, CelebrityBuzz on Tuesday, the young crossdressers, mostly teenagers graced a girl’s birthday in a yet-to-be-identified location at night in Calabar.

The YouTuber captioned it as: “Trending clip of gents and Crossdressers turning up at a birthday party in Calabar.”

The video has generated lots of reactions on the popular Nigerian Forum, Nairaland, with some concluding that they belong to the LGBTQ+ community.

MrBrownjay1 – “Nigerian police should do their job aka go undercover (lol) and arrest them all…”

CraigListAD – “This is child’s play compared to what my eyes saw at one corporate party in Eko Atlantic Lagos. They were like a swarm of flies… irritating crowd of effeminate men.

“I was told the organisation invited them to liven up the party. Like wtf.

“It’s a Pandemic in Umuahia where I come from. It is worse in calabar ( with all the sweetness of a calabar woman).

“It is a powerful force in Lagos. Lagos is actually going the way of Thailand.

“There’s a gay strip club in Lagos… disgusting to say the least.”

Serendipity2023 – “These guys are just gays, nothing else. Irritating to see.”

Jagznation – “See as my fellow man dey zuzu.”

AllahOfBlood – “Dirty things. A very disgusting sight to behold.”

Skoonheid – “If we don’t know who we are, we conceal our true selves and wear the image of others. To all these lost boys, I pray you find your way back.”

Administration1 – “Adam and Steve generation.”

Sijo01 – “Na wah o. Why will a man dump masculinity and embrace femininity.”

EmmyMaestro – “There are some madness that you cast out and there are some you FLOG out. This one is the latter.”

ArmaniUhuru – “This thing has come to stay in Nigeria. The ones they arrested in Warri for doing gay marriage, nothing happened to them. They hired a good lawyer and they were released. But the police that recorded the gay-bride’s ass was remanded in prison for a very long time. Nigeria is a failed entity. Tuehhhhh.”

Obyangel – “Sons of Sodom and Gomorrah, trying hard to copy daughters of Eve. Jennyclay don get siblings, female bae. The future belongs to females truly.”

CONVERSEER reported last June that some gay guys held a drag party in a hotel in Calabar which led to the Cross River State House of Assembly warning against perpetrators and supporters as is it against the law.
