ILORIN (CONVERSEER) – Former Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki has revalidated his membership with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, calling on residents to actively participate in shaping the future of the state.
Saraki, who announced the development via his verified social media handle on Wednesday, said he completed his registration at Ajikobi Central Ward, describing the process as “smooth” and “quick, but meaningful.”

“I’ve just completed my Kwara PDP registration at Ajikobi Central Ward. The process was smooth and took only a few minutes — quick, but meaningful,” Saraki stated.
Highlighting the growing interest in the party’s membership drive, the former Kwara State Governor noted that the level of enthusiasm shown in recent weeks signals the people’s commitment to the state’s progress.
“With the level of enthusiasm the registration has drawn over the past few weeks, it’s clear that many of us still care deeply about where our dear state is headed,” he added.

Saraki stressed that political participation remains critical to influencing decisions that affect the people, urging indigenes and residents of the state to register with the PDP.
“But we can’t shape important decisions from the sidelines. Participation is the first step,” he said.
Encouraging others to follow suit, Saraki remarked, “If you believe, as I and many others do, that Kwara’s best days are still ahead, take a moment to register with the Kwara PDP. It’s how you make your voice count and have a say in the future of our state.”
The PDP in Kwara has recently intensified efforts to boost its grassroots mobilisation ahead of future elections, with leaders and stakeholders advocating for wider involvement in the party’s activities.
