Four Men Assault 13-Year-Old Girl in Delta Community

The Delta State Police Command has arrested two of the four men who gang r3ped a 13-year-old girl.

The incident which occurred in Ugbomoro, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state on January 24, 2025, has sparked outrage in the community and on social media.

It was gathered that the minor was on her way to buy an item in the evening of that fateful day when the suspects deceitfully lured her into a house.

Human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Monday, January 27, said the suspect r3ped the minor from evening till dawn.

“Gang r@pę of a 13-year-old girl in Ugbomro/Iteregbi in Uvwie Local government Area of Delta State. The police in Ebrumede led by the DPO CSP Iwok have arrested two of the alleged r@píst and are on a manhunt for the others,” he wrote.

“The girl miraculously escaped dęăth with this incident which was carried out last week Friday 24th throughout the night to Saturday 25th January.”

A spokesperson for the command, SP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident and arrest said ongoing efforts are being intensified to arrest the fleeing suspects.
