CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Cross River State Civil Service Commission has commenced the first batch of orientation for the newly recruited public servants in the state.
According to a release by Sir Maurice Effiwatt, Chairman of the Commission, on Wednesday, the orientation training will be in four batches, with each batch having two days.
“To conclude the ongoing recruitment of eligible persons into the Cross River State Public Service, the Cross River State Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training, in conjunction with the Cross River State Civil Service Commission, is undertaking a two-day orientation training for all the newly recruited personnel, in four batches of 500 persons per batch.
“Attached herewith, is the list of names of the first batch of 500 persons drawn from the various cadres and across the 18 Local Government Areas of the State, for public information.
“The dates and venue of the training shall be supplied by the Cross River State Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Trainings, within this week,” the release stated.
