CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu has elevated five of his media aides with the view of repositioning the media architecture of his administration.
This was made known by a press release signed by Linus Obogo, Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, on Thursday, 10th July 2025.
According to the release, “His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, has graciously approved the elevation of the following officers:
1. Imani Odey – Elevated from Special Assistant to Special Adviser to the Governor on Electronic Media
2. Ekeng Andre Inyang – Elevated from Special Assistant to Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media
3. Nathaniel Otaba – Elevated from Special Assistant to Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Communication
4. Daniel Williams – Elevated from Special Assistant to Senior Special Assistant, Photography to the Governor
5. Godswill Ekpe – Elevated from Personal Assistant to Special Assistant, Cinematography to the Governor
“His Excellency warmly congratulates all the newly elevated officers and urges them to bring renewed passion, creativity, and a high sense of responsibility to their duties in service of the people and the state.
“All appointments take immediate effect,” the release added.
