Governor Otu redeploys, appoints 17 SAs, SSAs, PAs

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has approved the redeployment of three; two Special Advisers (SAs) and one Senior Special Assistant (SSA).

According to a press statement by Mr Nsa Gill, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Tuesday, 20th August 2024, Governor Otu also appointed 14; one Special Adviser (SA), seven Special Assistants (SAs), three Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and three Personal Assistants (PAs).

The statement read: “His Excellency the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu has approved the redeployment of:

1. Mr Ken Aklah to serve as Special Adviser (Aviation).

2. Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpeh is appointed Special Adviser (Power).

3. Daniel Offiong Expenyong is Senior Special Assistant (Environmental Carbon Emission).

More so, the Governor has also approved appointments of the following persons to serve under the office of the Chief of Staff.

They are:

1. Barr. Esu Ekanem Ene – Special Adviser on Administration

2. William Ukpong – Senior Special Assistant on Protocol

3. Dunamis Archibong – Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs

4. Williamson Otu – Senior Special Assistant on General Duties

5. Akpeke Peters – Special Assistant on Protocol (II)

6. Kenneth Kaiang Neji – Special Assistant on Youth Initiative, Monitoring & Delivery




7. Maurice Nkong – Special Assistant on Public Relations

8. Patrick Asuquo Mbukpa – Special Assistant on Special Duties

9. Edem Bassey Essien (TUPAC) – Special Assistant on Utility

10. Ntiero Okon Effiom – Personal Assistant on Party Affairs




11. Batholomew Ushie – Special Assistant on Youth Orientation

12. Patrick Asuquo – Special Assistant on Media

13. Praise Emori – Personal Assistant on Domestic

14. Patrick O. Wonah – Personal Assistant on Admin
