Paris, France – Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr. has taken a swipe at Manchester City midfielder Rodri after the Spaniard’s recent comments about Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.
Rodri, who was awarded the 2024 Ballon d’Or, suggested that Vinicius Jr. could improve his game by focusing more on the pitch. This advice didn’t sit well with Neymar, who took to Instagram to respond.
“He [Rodri] became a talker now,” Neymar commented on a post about Rodri’s remarks.
The tension between the two players comes after Real Madrid boycotted the Ballon d’Or ceremony, a move that was widely seen as a protest against Vinicius Jr. not winning the award.
As the feud between Neymar and Rodri heats up, both players will be focused on their respective clubs.
Vinicius Jr. will be aiming to help Real Madrid maintain their strong start to the La Liga season, while Neymar will be looking to make an impact for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
