NDDC Rep calls for more collaboration for dev’t of C’River

The Commissioner representing Cross River at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC board, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke has called for more collaboration for the development of the state.

Duke made the call following the Supreme Court verdict that affirmed Governor Bassey Otu’s victory at the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial poll.

The NDDC Representative said the triumph of Otu at the Apex Court is a testament to the strength of the nation’s democratic principles.

Duke also congratulated the Governor, wishing him continued success as he takes Cross River to higher heights.

“On this joyous occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations on the recent Supreme Court victory that upholds your election as the Governor of Cross River State.

“This resounding decision is a testament to the strength of our democratic principles and, more importantly, reflects the unwavering trust and confidence the people have placed in your capable hands. Your dedicated service to the people of Cross River has undoubtedly contributed to this well-deserved triumph.

“As we celebrate this victory, I am optimistic that our continued collaboration will yield even greater achievements for the development and prosperity of our beloved state. May your leadership be marked by enduring peace, progress, and the fulfilment of the aspirations of the people.

“Once again, congratulations on this significant legal victory, and I wish you continued success as you steer Cross River State toward a brighter future,” Duke said in a statement signed by him and made available to CONVERSEER.
