NDDC Rep hails Governor Otu’s 2 years of transformative leadership

CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Commissioner representing Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, PhD, has congratulated Governor Bassey Otu, on the occasion of his second anniversary in office, describing his tenure as one marked by visionary leadership and transformative progress.

In a goodwill message on Thursday, the Commissioner commended Governor Otu’s administration for its commitment to purposeful governance, infrastructural renewal, and human capital development over the past two years.

“These past 24 months have been a testament to your rare commitment, visionary acumen, and unwavering devotion to public service,” Duke stated, noting that the people of Cross River have regained a sense of pride and dignity through the administration’s efforts.

He further praised the governor for setting the state on a path of growth and relevance, adding that his leadership embodies truth, compassion, and excellence.

The NDDC also reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with the state government in advancing inclusive growth and sustainable development across all communities in Cross River, irrespective of their location.

“The fact that your tenure is attracting a groundswell of public acclaim and calls for continuity is a reflection of earned trust, competence, and leadership that resonates profoundly with the people,” the message added.

Governor Otu, who assumed office on 29th May 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has marked two years in office with widespread commendation for his developmental strides across various sectors in the state.
