In a separate operation in Kano, officers intercepted 45-year-old Michael Ogundele transporting 50,000 Tramadol 225mg pills hidden inside a 50-litre steel gas cylinder along the Zaria-Kano highway.
Further crackdowns in Lagos resulted in multiple arrests. Two suspects, Olumuyiwa Kolawole and Samod Adisa, were caught in Mushin with 67.5kg of cannabis, while an additional 100.8kg was seized from a storage facility linked to two fugitives in the Anifowoshe area.
