Tinubu Endorses 65-Year Retirement Age for Doctors and Healthcare Professionals

The Federal Government has launched a series of ministerial press briefings where key officials will provide updates on governance, policies, and national development.

Announcing the initiative in Abuja on Tuesday, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, emphasized that the directive came straight from President Bola Tinubu.

The president reportedly mandated, that every minister must step forward, face the press, and engage directly with the public.

“This administration believes in open communication,” Idris said. “Nigerians deserve to know what their government is doing, how decisions are made, and how policies impact their daily lives.”

The briefings, set to take place weekly, will rotate among ministers, allowing each to highlight achievements, discuss challenges, and address pressing concerns from citizens. More than just a routine government update, the sessions aim to bridge the gap between leaders and the people they serve.
