The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by its Cross River State Chairman, Obol Comr. Emmanuel Olayi, marked the 65th birthday of Governor Bassey Otu with the launch of an education support programme.

The event, which took place at St. Patrick Primary School in Adiabo, Odukpani Local Government Area of the State, focused on providing resources for students and low-income parents as part of the NYCN’s “Back to School” project.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Odukpani Chapter of the NYCN under the leadership of Comr. Bassey Williams, was fully endorsed by the state council. In his address, Williams praised the efforts of the state NYCN leadership for their restructuring work, which he believes will offer a better future for Cross River State youths.
