Cross River State Governor, Senator (Prince) Bassey Otu, presided over a special Valedictory Executive Council Meeting in honour of the late Tanko Ashang, Esq., SAN, former Attorney-General (AG) and Commissioner for Justice in Cross River State, who died on October 8, 2024.
Governor Otu was represented by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey.
The event, held on Wednesday at the State Council of Chief Chambers in Calabar, was attended by the State Chief Judge, Justice Akon Ikpeme, Immediate Past Deputy Governor, Prof. Ivara Esu, OFR, members of the State Executive Council, Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service and Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Others were the State Chairman of the APC, former commissioners and top government officials.
