Portable responds to trolls claiming he always travels abroad with his first wife.

Nigerian streethop singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, says he is afraid and does not want to be locked up after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command.

Recall that the Ogun State Police Command has officially declared Portable wanted for an alleged attack on officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development while carrying out their lawful duties.

The wanted circular was issued on Monday by Omolola Odutola, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who claimed that Portable had led thugs to violently attack three government officials on February 5.

Odutola claimed that the musician and his associates attacked the officials, TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi, while they were conducting an enforcement exercise at his bar in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, Sango Ota, when they came across an elderly man who was later identified as Portable’s father.

According to the police spokesperson’s statement, Portable has been evading arrest since the incident, even after being invited several times to appear before the police.

After being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command, the troubled singer has now gone to social media to beg for assistance, saying he is afraid of being locked up.

Portable shared his side of the tale in a passionate Instagram video plea, denying any wrongdoing and asserting that he is being chased by malicious people.

He said; ‘‘Nigeria, this is when I need you people’s help. There’s no place like home, but ev!l people full home. Why only me? Why do I have issues in Nigeria? I do music for a living, I’m not a thief, I don’t kill people. I wait for my blessing. I bless people too. I don’t make trouble. People look for my trouble, I’m a superstar.

‘‘God forgive me if I do any bad. After God, na government. They set me up with the government. I don’t have any issues with the government or police. Some people just came to my house, telling me to pack out. I’m not a criminal. I’m not feeling fine. And I’m afraid. I don’t want them to lock me up. I’m going through pain all over my body. I’m a Federal Government liability. I didn’t go to school, I’m a fashion designer.

“I fear government. I am a federal government liability. Then I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients.

“I am from Abeokuta and they are taking care of me there. I am not a thief, I help people around me without even looking at their background.” Portable.
