Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has opened up about his career across the Premier League, La Liga and Turkish leagues, his recovery from surgery, and his plans for the future.
In an interview with Arise TV, Omeruo shared his thoughts on the contrasting styles of football in the Premier League, La Liga, and the Turkish Süper Lig.
Despite signing for Chelsea he never played any minutes in the Premier League , he highlighted the league’s fast pace and physical demands while expressing his preference for Spain’s more technical and possession-based style.
“I didn’t play in the Premier League, but I think England is more difficult. It’s faster and more demanding. But I prefer playing in Spain.
The football is more technical. In Turkey, it’s back and forth, no calmness with the ball. In Spain, you get to play football, keep possession. But the Premier League is harder,” Omeruo said.
