Presidency Responds to Allegations of Plans to Oust Tinubu: El-Rufai May Struggle to Win Senate Seat Alone

The presidency has stated that Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna, lacks the influence to “unsettle” President Bola Tinubu.

The Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala made the remarks during an interview with TVC News stating that the former Kaduna State governor cannot win even a senate seat talk more of the presidency.

Bwala also alleged that El-Rufai only gains political prominence when aligning with a strong, revolutionary leader, adding, “Let me tell you something about my elder brother, El-Rufai, and whether we should be concerned.

“There’s a dynamic around him. El-Rufai needs a solid revolutionary figure to thrive. On his own, El-Rufai might not even secure a Senate seat.”
