Rapper Mellow Rackz is under police investigation following an alleged altercation with her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend at a West Hollywood hotel. Authorities say the incident took place early Monday morning, with Rackz reportedly engaging in a physical confrontation and taking the woman’s phone.
Sources indicate that Rackz was in town for Rolling Loud when she discovered that her boyfriend had booked rooms for both her and his ex at the same hotel. The two women reportedly encountered each other in the lobby, where a fight ensued. Rackz allegedly punched the ex-girlfriend in the face, leaving visible red marks.
During the scuffle, the woman dropped her phone, which Rackz allegedly took before leaving the scene, telling her, “What are you going to do about it?” Hotel security contacted the police, and officers responded to speak with the alleged victim. However, Rackz reportedly refused to exit her room, instructing officers to speak to her lawyer instead.
Law enforcement has since filed a robbery report, naming Rackz as a suspect. Detectives are expected to investigate further, but no arrests have been made. Attempts to reach Rackz’s representatives for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
