Real Betis are reportedly eyeing Nigerian striker Akor Adams for a January move, with the Montpellier forward seen as a potential game-changer for the La Liga side.

Despite underwhelming performances in France, the 24-year-old’s potential has caught the attention of Betis, who are considering a move to bring him to Spain.

According to Foot Mercato, Montpellier are willing to sell Adams for €8 million—doubling their original €4.5 million investment when they signed him from Norwegian side Lillestrøm SK in 2023.

His standout performances in Norway led to comparisons with Erling Haaland, earning him international attention.

Now, Betis are reportedly considering a loan deal with an option to buy, giving them a low-risk opportunity to evaluate the striker before committing to a permanent transfer.

Montpellier, struggling near the bottom of the Ligue 1 standings, could see Adams’ sale as a much-needed financial boost.
