Royal Aces Appoint Adetokunbo Ijomah as Team Manager for 2025 Season

Lagos, Nigeria – The Royal Aces Basketball Club has announced the appointment of former D’Tigress and Dolphins Basketball Club player, Adetokunbo Ijomah, as their Team Manager for the 2025 season. The move, aimed at strengthening the team’s leadership, has generated excitement among fans and industry watchers alike.

A New Era for the Royal Aces

Ijomah’s extensive experience as a professional athlete and her background in sports management made her the ideal candidate for the position. Her appointment is expected to enhance the team’s reputation for high-performance gameplay and foster deeper connections with their dedicated fanbase.

A Wealth of Experience

Ijomah brings an impressive résumé to her new role. She played for the Dolphins Basketball Club in Lagos, the Mont Fleuri Basketball Club in Seychelles, and represented Nigeria at the national level as part of the D’Tigress team. Her educational credentials further solidify her expertise, including a Post-Graduate degree in Coaching and Sports Psychology from the National Institute of Sports (NIS) and training in Citizenship and Leadership from the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Abuja.

Additionally, Ijomah has completed specialised courses in sportsmanship, unified sports coaching, mental health, concussion protocols, and injury prevention through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) in the United States.

A Vision for Excellence

Expressing her excitement about the new role, Ijomah highlighted her enthusiasm for collaborating with Head Coach Olusegun Ojo.

“As the new team manager of the Royal Aces Basketball Club, I am beyond thrilled to embark on this journey to build the Paragon Queens alongside Olusegun Ojo,” she said. “His extensive knowledge of basketball is unparalleled, and his character is truly exceptional.”

She added, “I am confident that with Coach Olusegun’s diverse experience and leadership, our team is poised to reach new heights. Together, we are committed to elevating the game and creating a legacy of excellence for the Royal Aces.”
