Senegal’s Sangomar oil site recorded a production of 2.70 million barrels of crude oil in February 2025.

According to the Ministry of Petroleum , of this production, 2.59 million barrels were shipped in three cargoes—SAN021, SAN022, and SAN023—destined for both national and international markets.

A key milestone was the lifting of cargo SAN021 by Petrosen Trading & Services, which delivered 647,426 barrels to the SAR refinery, marking a significant step in integrating locally produced crude into Senegal’s domestic supply.

The government has set ambitious targets for 2025, with an estimated total production of 30.53 million barrels.

Authorities aim to maintain a stable daily output of 100,000 barrels throughout the year.
