Till this very moment, no one could possibly say that this is how the OGBONI fraternity was formed.
OGBONI is our own Illuminati or Mason. It was established the African way, and they were very powerful in those days because they lived by their rules and in one unity.
OGBONI of today are only living in their past glory; they don’t function like before, and they are not as powerful as before because every cat and dog has created their own OGBONI fraternity with little or no spiritual effect and power.
Everyone is creating and forming their own OGBONI after staying in one OGBONI group for a few years, so they think they deserve to be called OLUWO or a king.

How does OGBONI come into existence?
OGBONI was formed by naturally powerful people.
People who have reached some climax in what they do and have reached some height spiritually.
Take, for instance, someone who has an ESU and has reached another level with his ESU. This person has gained so much power from ESU and can do and undo with his ESU.
Another person with SANGO can know the hidden secrets and laws of SANGO so much that they speak at will to control the weather, sun and rain in the sky.
Every member of OGBONI in those days has one power or the other; they are bosses on their own.
Others who joined OGBONI are with their own ORISA, which they have its secrets and knowledge; they are master of their ORISA, and they can do and control anything.
This set of powerful people come together to create OGBONI so as to learn one or two things from each other.
OGBONI is more like Illuminati then, only for knowledge seekers and strictly for people with power.
OGBONI of those days are men and women who are closer to their ORISA, and the ORISA knows their many, many secrets which they wrote down.
To join the OGBONI fraternity of those days, you need to have what it takes.
What it takes is that you have to be sound in what you do.
What do you have to offer?
Are you naturally powerful?
Powerful people ruled the world of those days; these powerful people created OGBONI.
Powerful people are kings, others who rule the world.
In those days, no one dared speak evil of the king because such people would die in their sleep.
The kings were so powerful, and they were members of OGBONI.
Those powerful people wrote down some notes for the next generations after them which is what people of today are using. People of today have never had any encounter with any ORISA because they are never ready and are not interested in spirituality. They just want to show off.
Today, OGBONI has lost its power; they just used OGBONI for criteria for social status and nothing more they could offer.
If it were in those days, they would have called all the OBA into place so they wouldn’t be embarrassing us in public.
