Mr Richard Romanus, Convener, US4US Movement on Tuesday (Sept. 19) described President Bola Tinubu’s belief in youthful ingenuity as impeccable.

Romanus made the assertion during an engagement with journalists in Calabar, Cross River State.

He said the movement commends the faith of the Mr President in the appointment of young Nigerians into various high-profile positions,

According to him, these appointments are a reflection of the President’s undying love and belief in the potential of the young people of Nigeria.

He said the president’s deliberate actions of empowering young people were intentional in setting the stage for the next generation of leaders to emerge.

“Although, we are not surprised about this act of magnanimity towards the youths, as Tinubu holds the record as the leader that has discovered and nurtured the highest number of young people into greatness.

“We are particularly grateful for the appointment of 37-year-old Dr Jamila Adamu and Mr Ayodele Olawande as Minister of Youths, and Minister of State for Youths, and the preferential attention given to the Ministry of Youths.

“Looking at the statistics of young people in this administration, it is safe to say that the president is leaving no stone unturned towards harnessing all youthful potentials in the country,” he noted.

Romanus, however, called on the young people to reciprocate the president’s kind gesture by supporting the programmes of his administration irrespective of their political affiliations and ethnicity.
