Uyo-based makeup artist and hairstylist, Emrich Effanga, was allegedly strangled to d3ath by her boyfriend.
Her brother, Ifiok Effanga, a guitarist professionally known as Fiokee, on Saturday, February 8, mourned his sister online. read here
He also appealed to victims of domestic abuse to speak up before it’s too late.
Her cousin, Purim Mercy, has also taken to Facebook to mourn the deceased, revealing that the suspect is an usher in a church.
“Emrich Effanga, you are no more again. And there was no idea anywhere that you were in an abusive relationship with a guy who claimed to be your lover. And now, he has succeeded in killing you by strangling you to death. An usher in your church for that matter. So sad. My baby Cousin. May your soul. Rest In Peace. Good Bye,” she wrote.
