US woman seeks help locating parents of child she adopted at age 3

PENNSYLVANIA (CONVERSEER) – A United States woman, Awilda Ortiz, is seeking help locating the parents of a child she adopted at the age of 3.

Ortiz, the non-biological mother to the boy, now a grown man made the appeal on Tuesday in a Facebook group, Find a lost friend or relative – Worldwide.

According to her, the child is now in college, and her mother and father reside in Arizona and Philadelphia, respectively.

“Hello, this is my non-biological son. He was adopted when he was 3 years old. His biological mother’s name is Vanessa Shaw. We believe she resides in Arizona with her new family.

“His biological father is Frank Johnson, of the Philadelphia area, but his whereabouts are unknown.

“He would love to reconnect with his parents. He has had a rough road but is on his way to great accomplishments.

“He just became a college student and is super proud of his accomplishment. Internet family, help us if you can. Thank you, Non-bio mom,” the post read.
