Victor Boniface’s Grandmother Celebrates His Goal Against Borussia Dortmund (VIDEO)

Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface has shared a video of his grandmother celebrating his goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Boniface scored the equaliser in the 79th minute on match day 13 to ensure Leverkusen’s unbeaten run remains intact.

Julian Ryerson gave Dortmund an early lead in the 5th minute and in what looked like it was going to be the first defeat for Xabi Alonso’s men but the Nigerian International stepped up and levelled the game to maintain the unbeaten streak.

Celebrating the feat on Sunday after another fine performance at the BayArena, Boniface took to social media to celebrate his grandmother who was standing by him in the stands.

In the video, Boniface’s grandmom was seen jumping and shouting joyfully after her son scored the equaliser.

The striker also shared a photo of his grandmother with his teammate, Granit Xhaka.

CONVERSEER also learned that Boniface’s grandmother has been at the BayArena and was welcomed by staff and players of Leverkusen who sit top of the Bundesliga with 35 points.

Meanwhile, Boniface’s equaliser against Dortmund was his 8 of the season and he has 5 assists to his name too in the Bundesliga. He is also doing well in the UEFA Europa League where Leverkusen have already qualified as top of the group for the round 16.

Victor Boniface was born in Akure, Ondo State on 23 December 2000. He is currently 22 years old and will be 23 by 23 December 2023.

His full name is Victor Okoh Boniface and had played for Bodø/Glimt (2019–2022) and Union SG (2022–2023).
