The Zamfara State House of Assembly has been thrown into mourning following the death of one of its members, Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar-Daji, who represented Kaura Namoda South Constituency. The lawmaker reportedly passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Wednesday, April 9.

His death has sent shockwaves through the state, with tributes pouring in from political colleagues and constituents alike. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State expressed deep sorrow over the sudden loss, describing Kasuwar-Daji as a dedicated, honest, and God-fearing leader who served his people with unwavering commitment.

In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, the APC’s State Working Committee, executives, and supporters paid tribute to the late lawmaker, acknowledging his efforts both in the state assembly and in service to humanity.

The party extended its condolences to his immediate family, the people of Kaura Namoda South Constituency, and fellow members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly. Prayers were offered for his soul, with hopes that he will be granted Jannatul Firdaus and that his family finds the strength to bear the loss.

Hon. Kasuwar-Daji will be buried later today at 3:00 pm in his hometown of Kasuwar-Daji, located in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
