Former President Donald Trump has said he took a bullet for democracy.
This is coming in barely a week when the Republican Party hopeful for the 5th November 2024 presidential election was shot in his right ear during a rally in Pennsylvania.
Speaking at a rally in Michigan on Saturday, he said: “They keep saying ‘He’s a threat to democracy’ — What the Hell did I do to democracy? Last week, I took a bullet for democracy. What did I do against democracy? Crazy.”
One will be opinionated to say Trump is trying to upset the Democrats, who are currently trying to overthrow the democratically nominated candidate.
Trump further said: “Did you see Nancy Pelosi is selling out Biden now? She turned on him like a dog. ‘I don’t know if he should continue’ — Where did that come from? She was 100%, all of a sudden she’s not sure.”
At the Michigan rally, Trump also talked about watching SpaceX launch and being amazed by reusable rockets:
“If that were government, you wouldn’t see that for another 50-100 years. But it was Elon,” he said.
