Auto Crash Claims 3 Lives In Cross River

An auto crash has claimed the lives of three people along the Ikom-Calabar highway in Cross River State.

CONVERSEER learned that the accident occurred on Monday in the Nko axis of the road in Yakurr Local Government Area.

According to CrossRiverWatch, three people were confirmed dead on the spot.

The report stated that the deceased were all travelling in a grey Toyota Camry which swerved from the highway into Nko road.

“The cause of the accident can not be ascertained…but it seems the vehicle might have lost control and ran into a tree,” the report by CrossRiverWatch stated.

It stated further that the corpses have been deposited in a morgue in Ugep, Yakurr LGA Headquarters.

CONVERSEER reports that several people have died from road accidents across the state, with the highest being Calabar, the state capital.
