Las Vegas teenager who killed retired police chief to be released from prison

The teenager who mowed down and killed a bicyclist for no reason in Las Vegas to be released from prison and sent to a psychiatric facility.

19-year-old Jesus Ayala, who laughed as he murdered retired police chief Andreas Probst, is “unfit” to stand trial.

Ayala taunted police at the time of his arrest and said he would be “out in 30 days” saying it would just be a “slap on the wrist.”

Criminal proceedings have been halted after Ayala’s attorney says doctors have “raised concerns” about his mental state.

He is being sent to a psychiatric facility for evaluation, treatment, and possibly trial if he is found competent.

Ayala and his friend Jzamir Keys, who were juveniles at the time, stole a car and started mowing down bicyclists.

Ayala and Keys were seen smirking and taunting during court after the horrific murder.

In another news story, thieves robbed a train in Chicago, Illinois, taking dozens if not hundreds of boxes off of the stopped freight train.

“UPW inbound and outbound trains are stopped near Kedzie due to police activity,” Metra reported.

Police arrived and were seen pulling out their weapons as vehicles fled the scene.

The thugs were seen stealing a large amount of what looked like flat-screen TVs.
