Good Friday: Johnny Drille, Others to perform at 2023 Youth Swagger in Calabar

By Frank Ulom

On Good Friday (7 April 2023) at the U.J. Esuene Sports Stadium in Calabar, the Mavin Records sensation, Johnny Drille will perform at the 2023 edition of Youth Swagger, which is anticipated to draw over 20 million spectators. He will be joined by a number of other A-list gospel performers.

An annual gospel event called Youth Swagger that will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube promises to be thrilling and emancipating.

The worship and praise explosion was envisioned as an evangelistic instrument more than 10 years ago to win people into God’s kingdom via fervent worship and praise, even more by the varied gospel lineups collected each year, CONVERSEER reports.

Johnny Drille, best known for his hit song “How are you my friend,” will perform at this year’s Youth Swagger, which is dubbed “The Festival,” along with other well-known gospel performers like GUC, Dr KJn (United States), Esther Oji, Ekanem Esu, Min. JOE, Caleb Rex, Victor Edet, and Vocamonix.

The occasion is expected to be an intense time of worship and adoration that will help people grow in their relationship with God.

The organisers have already finalised arrangements for providing free buses at key sites inside and outside the city to transport attendees to the U.J. Esuene stadium, the location of the electrifying gospel worship event with over 15,000 live audiences.
