UNICAL establishes work-to-study programme, calls for applications

Call for Applications 2023/2024 Session

The Management of the University of Calabar has established the Work-to-Study programme that allows students in need the opportunity of being engaged as ad-hoc or casual staff while pursuing their studies in the institution.

The programme which is designed to support needy students is structured in a way that takes into consideration the time required for their academic engagements, skills and areas of interest.

The scheme has come into effect from the 2023/2024 academic session.

Sequel to this, a call is hereby made to students seeking to be employed under the scheme to indicate interest by collecting the Work-to-Study Application Forms (at no cost) and take note of the activities scheduled below:

Collection and submission

Date: Monday 11th – Wednesday 13th March, 2024

Venue: Office of the Special Adviser on Students/Head External Relations (Adjacent BVC Research, Linkages and Collaborations’ Office)

Interview

Date: Thursday 14th March, 2024

Venue: Senate Chambers

Induction

Date: Saturday 16th March, 2024

Venue: Senate Chambers
