In his commitment to rewarding hardwork and loyalty, the Member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Unyime Idem has empowered members of his Technical Support Team, who worked for him during his election in 2019 and reelection in 2023.
At a meeting with them in his Uyo residence on Monday, Rep. Idem surprised the eight members of the team with business support grants.
Idem, who chairs the House Committee on Public Procurement, appreciated the team members for the roles they played to ensure his victory in the elections in 2019 and 2023 respectively.
“I called this meeting to specially thank all of you for the support you gave to me in 2019 and also in 2023. You made things very easy for me and I don’t take that for granted,” he said.

Idem had earlier empowered the technical team members with cars to aid their businesses.
Responding, members of the team appreciated Rep. Unyime Idem for the gesture, noting that they have no regrets committing to his aspiration and working for him, and pledged their unwavering support for his future endeavours.
