A massive protest advocating for free speech was held at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The rally was reportedly rallied by former Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, who defended freedom of expression amidst X’s ongoing battle with the Brazilian government.
Bolsonaro addressed the crowd and stated that the entire world is aware of how threatened freedom of expression is today.
He urged the protesters to conduct a peaceful act in defence of democracy and freedom, without carrying any signs or banners.
