Ms Ihezie told NigerDelta Insider that she began riding Keke in 2021 when she couldn’t get a good-paying job after graduating from the University.
Ihezie graduted in 2015 from Department of Sociology at the University of Calabar (UNICAL). She said after her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) all she could get was teaching jobs and the salary was very poor.
On how she began riding keke, she said: “I saw a keke guy who lived around my area. I entered his keke, and as he rode, I asked him if he makes money from riding Keke, he said there is profit. I told him I would love to learn how to ride keke. He said he would teach me how to ride it if I was serious. That was the beginning of this journey.”
After learning, she got one Keke on a hired purchase. That was on 1st May 2021.
She said the Keke business fetches her good money and she is not shy about it.
