Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to plead guilty in deal with DOJ

Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, has arrived at the federal courthouse in Saipan where he is set to plead guilty in a deal with the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Assange ignored reporters as he exited the car in a dark suit.

Assange spent approximately $500,000 to fly to Saipan to avoid landing on the US mainland.

The U.S. territory of Saipan is located in the Northern Mariana Islands, about 1,800 miles from Australia where Assange is expected to travel next.

Assange will likely admit guilt to a single felony count which allows him to avoid jail time in an American prison.
