Bournemouth striker, Dominic Solanke, has informed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) of his readiness to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria after the Three Lions of England snubbed him from the 2024 Euro squad currently holding in Germany.
Converseer reports that Solanke has represented England at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, U-20, and U-21 levels, and he won the U-20 FIFA World Cup with England.
He also represented the England national team once.
The 26-year-old is now in talks with the NFF to switch his allegiance to Nigeria Super Eagles.
Solanke is following the footsteps of Victor Moses whom after featuring for England U-21 opted for Nigeria and won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2013, and Ademola Lookman who also made a switch and reached the 2023 AFCON final played this January in Ivory Coast.
Our Reporter learned that Solanke scored 19 Premier League goals in the 2023/2024 season for Bournemouth.

Solanke’s full name is Dominic Ayodele Solanke-Mitchell, he was born on 14th September 1997, in Reading, England to Nigerian parents.
His position is attacker, and he is right-footed with a height of 187cm.
Solanke started his career with Chelsea, making his first-team debut in October 2014. He spent the 2015–16 season on loan with Vitesse in the Eredivisie. He signed for Liverpool in July 2017, making 27 appearances before joining AFC Bournemouth in January 2019.
Solanke has represented England at all youth, under-21 and senior levels. He has won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup with his country and received the Golden Ball award for best player in the latter tournament. He made one appearance for the England national team in 2017.
