CRGIA issues Certificate of Occupancy to ITM

In its avowed determination to ensure timely insurance of Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to private and public property owners in the State, the Cross River Geographic Information Agency (CRGIA) has issued a C of O to the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Ugep.

Presenting the Certificate in his office in Calabar on Thursday, the Director-General, Cross River Geographic Information Agency, (CRAGIA) Mr William Archibong Jnr., applauded the dexterity of the present administration led by Governor Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, stating that it is upon his mandate, the ease in issuing CofO has been made possible in the State.

Priding in Governor Bassey Otu’s leadership, the DG described Otu’s administrative style as serious-minded and determined as well as desirous to fulfil all his campaign promises to the citizenry.

Mr Archibong echoed that CRGIA is ready to deliver on its mandate of ensuring easy processing and issuance of the land title, adding that the presentation of C of O to the Institution was a testament to the many dividends accrued to the present Administration.

He expressed his Agency’s willingness to collaborate with the institution whenever the need arises.

In his response, the Rector, Institute of Technology and Management, Ugep, Dr Akintola A. I., who was overwhelmed by the exercise, thanked Governor Bassey Edet Otu for his efforts in ensuring that most bureaucratic bottlenecks that have hampered development over the years are being tackled to ease the burden on the citizenry citizenry.

In his words, “I appreciate this feat being brought to us by the Governor, we are most elated to accomplish this feat that seemed elusive over a decade.”

He extended the goodwill of the Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount Ruler of Yakurr, Obol Ofem Ubana, and the entire Yakurr nation to the State Governor.

The Presentation of the C of O was witnessed by the Registrar, ITM Ugep Mr Ibor Joseph, the Bursar ITM Ugep, Mr Eteng Clement Otu and top Management Staff of CRGIA.
