NERC to hold meeting with electricity users in Calabar

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has fixed 7th and 8th August 2024 for a meeting with electricity users in Calabar, Cross River State.

According to a public service announcement signed by Mr Ibor Otu, State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), all customers of the Port Harcourt Electricity Development (PHED) are invited to the meeting.

“The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) invites all customers of the Port Harcourt Electricity Development (PHED) residence in Calabar and environs to a problem-solving session as follows:

Date: Wednesday August 7th to Friday 9th, 2024

Venue: Metropolitan Hotel, former, Transcorp Hotel, Calabar Road, Calabar.

Time: 9 am daily.

“PHED customers are advised to avail themselves of this rare opportunity of interacting with the officials of the company on issues relating to metering and power supply in their areas, including overbilling, billing without supply and every other problem faced by PHED’s customers in Calabar and its environment,” the public announcement read.
