DISPATCH RIDER – FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA – GOLDEN FERTILIZER COMPANY
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Prompt delivery/dispatch of all mails and correspondences to and from the GM-FertiGAIL, Blending Plant, Executive Management Office and regulatory authorities.
THE JOB
- To ensure proper daily recordings of all mails/correspondences.
- To ensure all mails/correspondences ready for dispatch are delivered promptly and timely.
- Daily pickup and delivery of the off-site plants and regulatory office.
- Ensuring that all documents ready for the GM’s signature are delivered correctly and in confidence.
- Regularly maintain and inspect the motorcycle to ensure it is good working condition.
- Manage and prioritize multiple delivery tasks to meet up deadlines.
- Adhere to all traffic regulation and safety standards while on the road.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have proven experience as a dispatch rider
- Have good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
- Be Professional and reliable.
- Excellent time management skills.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/Trade Test.
- Riders Card.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience.
