The full list of shortlisted candidates for Army SSC Course 48/2025 recruitment is out.
According to a release by the Military Secretary (Army), Maj. Gen. OJ Agbor, the Nigerian Army is pleased to inform the general public that the underlisted successful candidates for Short Service Combatant (SSC) Course 48/2025 Selection Board are to report to the Nigerian Defence Academy Old site, Kaduna State on 14th October 2024.
Candidates are to report to the Selection Board venue on 14th October 2024
between 8am – 11am with the following items:
a. Writing materials including ruler and eraser.
b. Three (3) pairs of plain white short-sleeved vests.
c. Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts.
d. Canvas shoes/trainers and white socks.
e. Toiletries.
f. A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups.
g. Beddings; to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.
h. Four (4) copies of full-size coloured photographs at standing position in
the suit
The Selection Exercise will involve physical, medical and academic tests as well
as an oral interview for all candidates.
Candidates will be required to produce original and duplicate copies of the
following:
a. All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC
discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as applicable in a file jacket.
b. Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission,
hospital and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.
c. Valid certificate of state of origin.
d. Military Identity Card (military personnel only).
e. Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders
(military personnel only).

f. Letter of sponsorship in a tertiary academic institution (military personnel
only).
g. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a
bank as well as NIN enrolment slip.
h. Completed copies of printouts from the SSC portal including referee forms
Candidates are to note that any alteration on their documents will render such
documents invalid.
Candidates will be accommodated and fed throughout the duration of the
Selection Board.
Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Selection
Board.
The use of personal/private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited
throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
Visitors will not be allowed throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
Shortlisted SSC Course 48/2025 candidates are to report at the Nigerian Defence
Academy Old Site, Kaduna State on 14 October 2024 from 8 am – 11 am. Candidateswho arrive after 11 am on 14 October 2024 will be disqualified.
A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate
any instruction during the Selection Board will be disqualified.
NOTE: Due to the military nature of the Exercise, the Nigerian Army shall not be liable
for any injuries/deaths recorded in the course of the Selection Board.
